International Research and Development Alliances as a Driver of Innovative Pharmaceutical Products' Development in Russia

The present master thesis is about International R&D Alliances as a Drive of Innovative Pharmaceutical Products Development in Russia. The goal of the paper is to identify the most effective ways of innovative pharmaceutical product development by pursuing international R&D alliances in Russia. This paper has been divided into five chapters. During the work on the paper have made survey of some the available evidence: major theoretical aspects of the problem were studied, including definitions, evolution, types, main motives and peculiarities of R&D alliance in pharmaceutical industry; the nature of R&D alliance activity in the pharmaceutical industry was explored; main facts and trends of innovation medicines development in Russia were analysed, finally, was estimate the main prospect of international R&D collaboration in Russia and recommendation of R&D alliance implementation of biopharmaceutical company – Gilead – was thoroughly investigated.
