The Features of the EAEU Treaty Implementation and Prospects of Further Integration

The creation of the Eurasian Economic Union has attached a great deal of attention by both Russian and foreign academics in terms of realization of the Treaty dispositions as well as internal and external relations, especially the further integration with Asian allies. Under the circumstances of the current confrontation between the West and Russia, the issue of the development of the EAEU is of key importance worldwide. The purpose of the study is to analyze the undertaken activities of the EAEU on the way to reach objectives, set under the Treaty, and possibilities for further integration expansion and for establishment of relations with Asia-Pacific region countries by creating free trade zones. This research is believed to bring understanding in terms of the development of Eurasian integration, the realization progress of the Treaty dispositions and to shed the light on the future of the relations between the EAEU and the Asia-Pacific countries. Future implications of the study are the following: profound review of the EAEU status on the world arena, which could be used in further researches on the EAEU and, in general, integration processes in the global community.
