There is a tendency in the modern economy to provide the community with goods and services around the clock in the framework of the so-called "24/7 economy", caused by economic, demographic and technological factors. Now, rescue services and medical institutions work at night and on weekends, the “24-hour” signboard is more often found at grocery stores, pharmacies, flower stalls, lots of cafes, clubs, restaurants, taxi work non-stop. On the one hand, workers engaged in non-standard time schedule receive higher wages, on the other hand, they suffer from a violation of biological and social rhythms. The aim of the project is to elaborate the influence rates of working nonstandard hours on the components of employees` subjective well-being. The study was conducted on the data drawn from The European Social Survey (ESS), round 5, 2010. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that employment during the night hours and weekends has a negative effect on the well-being of the employee: a person is more likely to experience fatigue, his/her satisfaction with work-life balance is lower, he/she often has conflicts when combining work and the family, he/she has lower level of satisfaction with life.
