In this master thesis we consider the problem of employment of young professionals with educational degrees of bachelor and master in conditions of asymmetric information distribution on the labour market. Chapter 1 contains a review of theoretical and empirical work in this direction, among which: the study of Becker and Schultz on human capital, work of Akerlof about asymmetrical distribution of information in the used car market. In this paper the issue of implementation of the Bologna system of higher education in Russia and its impact on the labour market of young professionals are also discussed. A research conducted in this work consisted of two parts: 1. The collection and analysis of interviews with experts in the field of recruitment of young specialists; 2. A survey using vignettes. The vignettes are fictional resumes that employers were evaluated on a 7 point scale (1 – the candidate will definitely NOT be hired 7 candidate is definitely hired). As independent variables were: university, educational degree, work experience of the candidate. As a result, we got that each of these factors is important, furthermore the interaction of the factors of Experience and University is important.
