In this work, I analyze the main trends of language change over the last 7 on the material of the public groups from the social network "VKontakte". This research examines the following linguistic parameters of communication: the part of speech distribution, word length, vocabulary, number of English words, number of abbreviation, number of words in uppercase, emoticons and emoji, mistakes.
