Agenda Setting as a Basis of Dramaturgy in Summary Programs on Federal Television Channels (the Case of Summary Programs on Channel One, Russia-1, NTV)

The work is devoted to the investigation of the place of agenda in line of plot and composition elements of a summary program and peculiarities of its dramaturgy. There is a special focus on observation of the main compositional schemes, plot-forming components and prevailing genres of a summary program. As a result, basic principles of dramaturgy of summary program are formulated. The author has carried out content analysis of summary programs on Channel One, Russia-1 and NTV, analyzed the composition and the structure of the plot of each program. Comparison of received data alongside the theoretical reflection have allowed to establish that agenda setting is a basis of dramaturgy of a summary program.
