The influence of weather conditions on the state of human health is undeniable. There are a number of diseases for which weather conditions can serve as both a cause and a factor causing complications. This study aims to identify the relationship between weather conditions and the disease of ENT organs in the territory of the Russian Federation. The incidence of the Russian Federation over the past 15 years has been growing, with the disease of the ENT organs from the total incidence of 42-47%. Since 2008, there is a tendency to increase the proportion of ENT diseases. The current study contributes to the literature on the effects of weather conditions on public health. A number of trends were identified using a model of panel data with fixed effects on z-statistics of weather indicators taken with lags in time. There is a interrelation between diseases and high temperatures and humidity, as favorable conditions for the development of microorganisms. The non-economic consequences of unemployment, such as an increase in the incidence of morbidity, were confirmed. The gender dependence of asthma was confirmed, namely, women are more susceptible to this disease. When assessing data from the Federal Statistical Service, which were considered without lag in time, there are several general trends. According to our estimates, the incidence is higher in regions where the air temperature in January is higher and the air temperature in July is lower. In this case, the incidence is also higher in regions where precipitation is less. The general trend for northern cities and southern ones is preserved, but there are differences that should be taken into account. This study can be useful for further analysis of weather conditions in the territory of the Russian Federation. Finally, future research can also contribute to a more detailed analysis of adaptation to cold and hot weather.
