The study is devoted to the research and implementation of practical application of simulation modeling in the field of the delivery of services on the example of medical service that provide visits of doctors to the home. The goal of the study is the creation of an imitation model of the company's business processes, conducting experiments on its basis and demonstrating the possibility of solving the problems of optimizing business processes with its help. The object of the research is the company's activity in providing the service of a doctor's home visit. The subject of the study are methods of simulation modeling, such as, discrete-event modeling, agent modeling and system dynamics. In this paper, the characteristics of various types of simulation modeling were described, their differences and features were analyzed, their applicability to business situations and the solution of business problems was described. To implement the practical part of the work, the AnyLogic tool was chosen, and on its platform a basic simulation model was created using the discrete-event modeling approach. Experiments were conducted, a business problem was identified, and a hypothesis was tested that promoted cost optimization. The proposed solution can be used by companies based on an "on-demand" concept that is widely spread on the market today, to optimize business processes and increase profits. The study is outlined on 60 pages, contains 10 figures and 8 tables. The list of sources used includes 43 items.
