Research topic: software-defined technologies in the data center. Object of study: software-defined controller. Research method: full-scale experiment. In this article, the performance of controllers is evaluated depending on various parameters (packet processing speed, delay, etc.). Main results. The article presents the results of testing and evaluates the performance of the controllers of the programmable Floodlight, ODL, and ONOS networks based on a series of load tests. Practical significance. The obtained results allow to choose the necessary type of controller when developing software-oriented data centers.
