Gender Features of Career Vision of a Public Servant

In this research discusses gender peculiarities of vision of a career civil servant. Traditionally, public service was seen as an exclusively male vocation. However, the liberalization of social forms of life leads to an increase in the proportion of women in the public service. However, there are significant differences in the gender perception of a career civil servant, what is under consideration in this work. In modern Russia and in the world seeks to remove barriers for career realization to people irrespective of their gender. However, despite the elimination of legal barriers, there are social determinants that determine the gender preferences of men and women in the professional specializations, including in the choice of career of public service. Continue to exist the stereotypes propagated in the public service that affect the choice of profession. The study of these stereotypes associated with gender differences in the perception of a career state employee is necessary to ensure equal access to this sphere, which proves the relevance of the work. The aim is to identify gender characteristics of career civil servant, and also show differences in the perception of civil servants ' career, and correlate this perception with the actual situation in the field, through the use of the necessary research methodology.
