The theoretical and practical issues of the application of public-private partnership in the context of enhancing the competitiveness of Russian regions were studied in the graduation thesis. The graduation thesis consists of three sections. The concept and factors of regional competitiveness, the principles and role of public-private partnership in enhancing it, the analysis of foreign experience of using public-private partnerships were revealed in the first section. The second section is an analysis of the development of public-private partnership in the Orenburg region. In addition, this section identified problems on the path of PPP development at the federal and regional levels. The third section provides recommendations on improving the mechanisms for implementing public-private partnerships at the federal level and in the Orenburg region. Graduation thesis is typed on 99 pages using 26 sources, contains 4 tables, 8 drawings and 8 applications.
