This diploma work is dedicated to the research of intellectual biography of V.K. Yatsunskiy (1893-1966). It was systematized his scientific works as the main sources of intellectual biography research. Then it was investigated the origins of the emergence his scientific views. Finally, it was analyzed his researches in historical geography, which played a significant role in his scientific activity.
