The Evolution of Germany`s Position of Forming a Common EU Immigration Policy

The creation of a legal mechanism for regulating immigration processes throughout the EU is one of the priority areas of the EU's political strategy. This issue has acquired special significance during the European migration crisis. This paper examines the problems of transforming Germany's position on the formation of a common EU immigration policy and the application of the German immigration model in the pan-European space. The main attention is paid to the study of EU regulations and Germany in the regulation of immigration processes.
