Borisenko Dmitry. Assessment of Categories in Civil Law. Annotation. This work researches the issues of using estimative concepts in civil law. Various approaches to the establishment of the definitions of these concepts, their signs, as well as various criteria for their classification are considered. Much of the work is devoted to the research of the process of establishing the content of valuation concepts, as well as the development of criteria for the formation of an objective (model) standard of interpretation and determining the limits of judicial and private discretion in interpreting them. Other part of this work is devoted to establishing the subject of the estimative concepts «caring» and «prudence», as well as the development of objective (model) standards for their interpretation. The final part of the research gives an interpretative description of the category «obviously» and the problems associated with its use in the norms of civil legislation. Key words: estimative concepts, care, prudence, obviously.
