Annotation to the final qualifying work on the topic "Management of Financial Risks of Investment Funds". The work was done by Diana Troynich, student of the Faculty of Economics. Object of the study: financial risks. Subject of research: mutual funds, represented on the Russian market. Objective: Analysis and evaluation of the model of the management of financial risks in investment funds. Tasks: 1. Analyze mutual funds 2. Consider the classification of financial risks 3. To familiarize with various approaches to management of financial risks 4. Assess financial risks using the Value at Risk methodology. The relevance of this work is that in an ever-changing world it is difficult to avoid risks, especially in investment activities, even if this is one of the safest activities as investing in funds. Therefore, it is very important to be able to accurately select funds among all their variety, and also to properly manage risks. Due to the parametric VaR method, possible losses for mutual funds were estimated with a probability of 95%, which thanks to diversification, or rather, the Markowitz portfolio theory, could be further minimized. An optimal portfolio was drawn up, in which was included only a part of the funds from the selected sample. The main share of the portfolio fell to the fund of shares from the management company URALSIB. The remaining shares were mainly distributed among the bond funds.
