Determinants of the Investment Appeal of a Company

Industrial companies might only remain steady and competitive in case the development of large-scale innovative projects. The implementation of innovative activities demands profound research of sources, receiving and efficient use in the corresponding projects of immense amounts of investments. Alcohol industry in the Russian Federation is one of the leading branches of the Russian economy in terms of volumes of production and the level of appeal to investors. The branch holds the best position amongst the other sectors of the food industry. The bachelor thesis is devoted to assessing of the investment appeal of the companies majoring in the alcohol production in Russia. The first chapter is dedicated to the analysis of theoretical issues of the "investment appeal” and to the review of the existing methods of investment appeal evaluation. The second chapter includes the analysis of the current market situation in the alcohol industry as well as the companies’ activities` evaluation. The third chapter provides information about the econometric analysis: used data, methods and data analysis process itself. The main purpose of the research paper is the implementation of econometric analysis, which will enable to identify the determinants affecting a greater extent of the investment appeal of the Russian companies specialised in the alcohol industry. This work meets such criteria as: 1. Uniqueness: the model takes into account the features of the alcohol industry; 2. The multi-aspect analysis: analysis is based on the evaluation of internal and external factors for the company; 3. The practical significance: the use of the model allows an investor to dwell the companies from the standpoint of the rationality of its investment. The final chapter of the paper indicates recommendations based on the analyses conducted. In case companies take into account given recommendations, it will be possible to raise the current levels of investment appeal.
