Media Shaming as a Form of Social Control: Actors, Discourses and Effects

This research is devoted to the phenomenon of media-shaming. The forms of media-shaming in modern media space are analyzed. The study provides an interpretation of the concept of media-shaming, discrimination, bullying and stigmatization. In the theoretical chapter of the study we analyzes technologies and consequences of media-shamings. The practical chapter reviews cases from Russian and foreign practices.
