Legal Effects of the Rulings of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation

The following work highlights the issues of concepts and kinds of legal properties of such judicial acts, as decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The author also examines in detail the existing mechanisms for implementing such properties and the limits of their legal effect. To fully and objectively achieve these goals, acts of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation is correlated with other judicial acts, in particular, with the judgments of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, the current discussion on the legal nature of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation is analyzed. All the legal features of the decisions having a legislative basis are fully described, the possibility of the existence of such a legal property as the retroactive force of a judicial decision is considered. Based on the results of the research, the author concludes that there are imperfections of legal regulating and a lot of contradictory points of view in the literature on the issues represented in the work. In conclusion, author gives an overview of his opinion about possible solutions of mentioned problems.
