MOOCs and Courses at the University: Perception, Motivation and Practices of Using and Combining

Currently, more and more foreign and Russian researchers are paying attention to the study of distance learning and mass open online courses, which are actively developed with the support of the best world universities, including Russian ones. At the same time, MOOKI gives students the opportunity to change their attitude to traditional courses at the university and to put their educational practices in a different way, combining the mandatory courses at the university and modern courses in an online environment that differ in the methods and methods of providing knowledge. The purpose of this study is to highlight and describe the motives and practices of passing and combining traditional and mass open online courses with modern Moscow students. As a result of the research, the paper describes the subjective attitude of students towards traditional and online courses, identifies the motivation for passing mass open online courses, and examines the practices of passing and combining university and online courses by students in their educational process.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
