Legal Regulation of Lobbying and Other Mechanisms to Promote Private Interests

The relevance of the research topic is determined by the trend of increasing interest in the legal regulation of lobbying activities. So, among the specialists, wide discussions are held on the problem aspects of the existence of lobbying in Russia, the publication activity of researchers is being increased, dedicated to the mechanisms for promoting private interests, conferences and round tables are often held, the central topic of which is the discussion of lobbying activities in our country. The problem of this topic is to determine the need for legal regulation of lobbying in Russia. On the one hand, it is possible that Russia needs a separate law on lobbying. On the other hand, it can be assumed that there is no need to adopt such a law, and lobbying in our country should be treated as a developed form of promoting the interests of organizations and citizens. The work consists of an introduction, a main part, a conclusion and a bibliography. The main part consists of two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the legal regulation of the mechanism for promoting private interests. Within the framework of this chapter, the dissertator analyzes the notion of private interest, examines the concept of lobbying, compares legal and socio-political views on the mechanism for promoting private interests. The second chapter analyzes the legal regulation of lobbyism, including studying the experience of foreign countries on this issue and examining the peculiarities of the domestic understanding of lobbyism and the attempts of the Russian legislator to regulate the investigated area of legal relations.
