This paper is dedicated to reviewing of historical myths and discourses manipulative impact on Great Britain’s Referendum on the Withdrawal from the European Union. The present investigation is largely confined to the «myths», «historical myths types» and «manipulative mechanism» conceptualization. Moreover, Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis method allows to examine textual, discursive and wider social practices, which were used during the referendum in Britain Stronger in Europe, Vote Leave and Leave.EU political campaign programs. The baseline results of the present research make an important generalization that mythologized manipulative mechanism affects significantly on the voting behavior during making the choice between Remain or Leave positions.
