The Analysis of Competitive Advantages of Online Transportation Network Companies on the International Markets

Nowadays, every citizen of a major city has at least once used the services of online applications to order a taxi. Demand for the service is constantly growing and with it the volume of the market. The number of such taxi aggregator companies is increasing, and the quality of this service itself is developing. The purpose of the study is to analyze the competitive advantages of taxi aggregators. For the analysis, the author chose three companies, which are market leaders - international and Russian applications. The first chapter contains the history of the startup, the necessary resources for its creation, as well as the life cycle. In addition, the author considers the customer development model, which allows determining the needs of the buyer at the stage of creating a business idea. The researcher used a qualitative research method - a semi-standardized interview, to identify the preferences of consumers, their satisfaction with the work and the quality of the taxi companies. 11 respondents took part in the interview. For the analysis of information, the coding method was used. Also, the analysis of the companies under review and the trend of the taxi market were carried out. As a result of the research, there was a comparative analysis of the competitive advantages of taxi aggregators, which allowed determining the strengths and weaknesses of the companies. Moreover, define which additional parameters in the application work need to be improved to increase the demand indicators for the services of a specific company.
