Political Science
(Bachelor’s programme)
2017
Developing Foucault's theory of governmentality, I strive to analyze the political discourse of the sixteenth-century England at the level of social practices, expressed in various forms of textuality, not directly related to the institutions of monarchy and the functioning of political power, in order to deconstruct them and discover the power relations determined the very exact type of social relations. This procedure will make it possible to understand what social changes have preceded the emergence of modern power relations with a punishment as its culmination.
