Cultural Tourism in the Framework of Representation of the Tula Region in Media

Master's thesis is devoted to the study of the status of cultural tourism in the framework of the representation of the Tula region in the media space. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a description of the phenomenon of cultural tourism as a categorical device for investigating the representation of the Tula region in the media space and the status of cultural tourism in the Tula region was revealed. Therefore, a significant theoretical part is devoted to the study of approaches and studies related to cultural tourism. To ensure that the cultural tourism of the Tula region is known to consumers of this type of leisure activities, various media should be chosen to interpret cultural proposals. In this paper, a content analysis of publications of federal and regional publications for the period 2012-2017 on the analysis of the representation of the Tula region in the media space and analysis of the status of cultural tourism in the Tula region in the media space was conducted. The study showed that the direction of cultural tourism in the Tula region is not adequately covered in the media space.
