The key Trends and Development Prospects for Multinational Companies in Luxury Goods Market in Russia

This research aims to analyze the market of luxury goods in Russia as it has shown a stable growth of luxury items demand for the last decade. However, Russian market is not as developed as other emerging markets (BRICS) so the study attempts to show possible further perspectives of extension for multinational companies in this domain. The paper focuses, namely, on emerging countries because of their high potential and great investment attractiveness for the top luxury players (LVMH, Richemont, Estee Lauder). The study includes a review of existing methods of performance evaluation such as statistical data collection and analysis for economic trend forecast. Furthermore, the given work documents case studies of different luxury companies market entry in emerging countries allowing to develop an appropriate strategy for Russia. It is expected that the luxury market trend in Russia will be positive in the long run despite an economic instability.
