Educational Achievement Predictors in Blended Learning. The Case of Data Science Minor

In this thesis, I present research on investigation determinants of academic success of students from minor specialisation in Data Science. Using both offline and online data, extracted from Virtual Learning Environment and series of surveys conducted, I develop several indicators of students' learning activity. They are programming activity, Questions and Answers Forum communication and informal communication with friends. In this work, I indicate the particular importance of peer effects and closest social environment on students’ academic achievement.
