Research and Development of a Method of Local Positioning Inside Buildings Using Wireless Networks

In this master's final qualification work, an analysis of the main methods of indoor positioning using mobile devices was carried out. In the course of the work, an assessment was made of the appropriateness of using each method for various tasks. Based on the findings, a potential solution is proposed that combines sufficient accuracy and low cost of implementation. The combined method is based on the use of inertial sensors of the smartphone and WiFi routers.
