The work is a research of the translation of a little-studied historical source "The History of the Empress Evdoxia Fedorovna, the First Wife of Peter the Great, the Emperor of Russia" by Chevalier d'Eon with the involvement of modern historiography and Russian and foreign historical sources of the 18th and 19th centuries. The subject of the research is the perception of the era of Peter the Great in Europe mid-late XVIII century. In this research was translated the text of history source, was made comparisons with anorher historical sources.
