In modern consumer society, fashion and tourism are rapidly developing and highly profitable areas of life. The present work studies practices of consumption of tourist products among young people and how such a social institution as fashion plays a role in this consumer behavior. As a result of the research, a model of fashionable behavior in tourism was developed, which is assimilated by young tourists through the mass media and influences their consumer behavior in travel.
