Scholars have become more interested in studying all events from social history’s perspective, including such broad topic as everyday life of foreigners in an alien country. In particular, the Frenchmen became a centre of numerous studies because of rise of their quantity in Russian empire in the period of Enlightenment. Nevertheless, historians omit a huge complex of primary sources which can help to study Frenchmen’s life more elaborately. This research will be an attempt to fill this gap in existing historiography, complementing new groups of sources.
