International Migration in Kazakhstan

After gaining independence, large-scale migration processes took place in Kazakhstan, which greatly influenced to demographic structure and processes in the country. The thesis is about international migration in Kazakhstan in the period 1991-2015 for the main seven countries. The migration to permanent residence, labor and repatriation program is considered. The work analyzes the ethnic, age, educational and regional structure of migrants and the direction. The main factors, causes and consequences of international migration are revealed.
