In the last decade, science and technology (S&T) and innovation policy have shaped majority of developed countries. Recent trends have created new opportunities for Foresight to be integrated in STI policy making. On the other hand, the rationales for conducting Foresight activities have also evolved in the last decade to feature a range of policy concerns which reflects and sometimes coincides transnational, supranational, national and regional contexts.
