Development and Implementation of the Corporate Project Management System in Fashion Industry

In general, companies working in the sphere of fashion, today don’t use the methods of project management, despite the fact that most of their activities are project-based. Thus, the purpose of this work is to analyze the activities of the company that works in the fashion sphere and the introduction of elements of the corporate project management system in the clothing brand "X", taking into account the specifics, structure and nature of the company's activities. Achieving this goal implies the solution of the following tasks: 1. To study of existing approaches and models of the corporate project management system, as well as strategies for its implementation; 2. Consideration and identification of the specifics of the sphere in which the company operates; 3. Review of existing problems in the company; 4. To Identify the elements of the CRMS that will be implemented in the company. 5. Recommendations for the implementation of selected elements. The object of this study is a company that specializes in the design and tailoring of women's clothing. The subject of the study are elements of the corporate project management system that are required by the company. In this paper, the peculiarities of projects implemented in the field of fashion business, as well as the main trends of this sphere, will be singled out. As part of this study, you can see, that three of the five core activities of such companies, in fact, are projects. As a consequence, for the most organized management of their activities, design firms can use the corporate project management system. When implementing a corporate project management system the top management of design companies, which is the initiator of innovations, need to inform all employees about impending changes. This will significantly reduce the level of staff resistance and organize a team to support change.
