Public Administration
(Master’s programme)

2017
The sphere of physical culture and sport as an important social phenomenon permeates all levels of modern society, having a wide impact on the main spheres of society's life. The main link in the development of physical culture and sports are sports institutions, whose activities are aimed at physical education and physical development of the population, as well as the preparation of sports and recreational reserves.

Municipal sports facilities invest a lot in the development of the system of raising children and in the form of an early habit of doing physical culture and sport. In connection with the new trends in the development of municipal sports schools, the effectiveness of evaluating the performance of institutions has in-creased. Particular attention is paid to the quality of the rendered (performed) ser-vices (works) of municipal institutions.

It should be noted that there is no uniform approach in the Russian

Federation in assessing the effectiveness of municipal sports institutions.

To improve the effectiveness of municipal sports and recreational facilities, it was evaluated the effectiveness of the municipal sports facilities in Perm on the basis of existing criteria. Based on the results of this assessment, the problems en-countered by institutions have been identified and measures for their elimination have been developed. Also, with the application of new significant indicators, the assessment of the impact on municipal sports facilities is improved.

The implementation of the proposed measures increases the efficiency of municipal sports institutions, and an improved system can become the main one for the formation of a single systematic approach for assessing the effectiveness of municipal sports institutions located in different municipal districts.
