Consequences of China`s WTO Accession on its Domestic Economy

The following paper is devoted to the detailed analysis of Сhina's accession to the WTO: the process of negotiations of accession with the transition, benefits for China, as a country with a developing economy and the first results. During the analysis of the current situation in the Chinese economy modern sources such as the works of Russian and foreign authors, study aids, official websites and statistical reports for the comparison of the main macroeconomic indicators of the periods before and after the WTO’s accession were used. The study considers the main directions of development of modern economy and politics of China and relations between China and major world powers. The analysis includes many programs and projects, in which China is involved, as well private initiatives of the Republic of China. According to the detailed analysis of all these factors, the paper presents conclusions about the emergence of China a major world economic leader, due to its leading positions by volumes of export and import in the world, as well to its own foreign and domestic policy of the state. The paper can be used by country with economy similar to China's to develop a strategy for improving the economic situation, status, and strengthening of influence force on the world stage. In addition, China's experience in complex negotiations for accession to the WTO can serve as a guide for States preparing to become members of this organization. Key words: WTO, the domestic economy of China, international trade, foreign economic relations. The paper includes: 1 figure and 3 appendices, list of references contains 50 sources. The total volume of the final qualifying work is 52 pages.
