Tendencies in Reformation of Criminal Preliminary Procedure (Case Study of Ukraine and Republic of Kazakhstan)

The dissertation is dedicated to the comparative study of three tendencies in the reformed criminal process of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine (according to the UPC of 2015 and 2012 respectively): optimization of the initial moment of preliminary proceedings («automatic» official opening of the investigation, removal of «the instituting criminal case stage»); the introduction of the detective-search activity in the criminal process (i.e. introduction of secret measures into the system of investigative actions) and of the institute of investigative judge. This research is based on the analysis of legal technicalities (theoretical level).
