In this master thesis the author examines media coverage of Hillary Clinton's and Donald Trump's campaigns during presidential elections in the US in 2016 in order to determine the interaction between candidates, mass media and the public from the angle of the theory of agenda-setting, designed by McCombs and Shaw.
