Development of a Mobile Application for the Museum Using Elements of Augmented Reality

The Graduation Thesis consists of 87 pages and contains 11 pictures, 3 tables, 17 appendices and 30 references. The paper researches museum mobile applications with Augmented Reality (AR) features. The aim of the paper if to create a tool for complex perception of photographic exhibits by developing an application of this type. During the research, approaches to identifying the target exhibit were reviewed, and existing analogue applications were analyzed. In terms of the conducted subject field research, it was proposed to create a new mobile application for photographic exhibitions. The paper contains the overview of mobile platforms and development kits for image recognition and HTML code parsing, followed by the rationale for their selection. Modeling of the application’s structure and user interface, development and testing of its software are described. Results are expected to be applied to photographic exhibitions.
