The work offers an in-depth analysis of the US-Russia issues and prospects given the reality of systemic confrontation following the Ukrainian crisis. The author focuses on the issues of arms control, ballistic missile defense and NATO enlargement. Also, the work reflects on crisis management patterns in the USA and Russia using the cases of Ukraine and Syria. The work ends by a profound study of the possibilities and risks of bilateral relations under the Trump Administration that has not yet elaborated a common approach to Russia.
