This work is an example of a study of employees’ media preferences within the internal communications in the organisation on the example of the telecommunication company "Net Bai Net Holding". The role of internal communications in the company has been examined, the evolution of communication channels under the influence of digital technologies is considered, and the basic approaches to communications concerning gender and generation factors are described. Based on a survey conducted on the employees within "Net Bai Net Holding", it is concluded that there is a difference in communication practices between men and women and representatives of different generations. However, we believe that this difference is so small that we consider it neglectable. The impact would not create a fundamental difference in models of behaviour. The analysis allowed us to conclude that part of the communication practices is influenced by stereotypes.
