The Impact of Lending on the Level of Competitiveness of Automotive Companies in U.S. Market (Cases of Toyota and Ford)

The pressing issue of this research is the problem of the impact of lending on the level of competitiveness in the automotive industry. The topic is very relevant because of the growing political and economic tensions. The importance of the impact of lending on the level of competitiveness can not be overestimated. This is an integral part of doing business in developed and developing countries, as the dynamics of sales, the efficiency of the company's activity and the strategic position in the automotive market depend on car loans. The novelty of the study is in analyzing of the dynamic model to determine the degree of Toyota's competitiveness impact on Ford in US and strategic analysis (SWOT analysis, Ansoff matrix and Boston consulting group). The results of the study showed that the exclusion of such factor as the credit led to a decrease in the rate of growth in competitiveness by 2 times, a fall in the sales dynamics by 10% and an increase in the growth rate of transaction costs by 50%. The obtained results can also be used in forecasting of the level of competitiveness of the automotive industry, based on the expected future income from lending.
