This work is devoted to the study of the engagement of personnel in the work, which is relevant at the moment among entrepreneurs and managers of commercial companies. The paper reveals the problem of ambiguous understanding of the definition of "engagement of personnel" in the scientific literature and reveals the social representations about an engagementof personnel among managers and HR specialists.
