Balance between Work and Family in France and Russia: a Сomparative Аnalysis

In the modern Russian society, more and more importance is the issue of balance between work and family. First and foremost, it is relevant for women, as today they often perform a triple role: mother, housewife and worker. A comparative analysis of the balance between work and family in Russia and France. The latter was selected as a developed European country with several years of experience in this matter. The selected States differ in the types of family policy conducted by them, which is especially interesting in terms of comparative analysis. The analysis showed that France has a more comprehensive system of family policy than in Russia, particularly in supporting working parents. According OESD Family Database in 2013 identified that the percentage of working women with children under 14 years is around 72% in both countries. On the basis of data obtained in the study by Remiz and its analogue GGS for the year 2007, this paper presents an analysis of the employment of women with children up to 17 years old in both the countries under study - used method is simple linear regression. It is revealed that the employment of Russians most influenced by their education, type of proposed contract, as the impact of their employment on children. In the least significant costs of raising children.
