The Impact of Innovative Activities of Oil and Gas Companies on their Key Financial Indicators

Since the globalization has deepened in the recent years, the innovative idea is suggested to be a powerful competitive advantage and one of the key success drivers on the market. In this regard, it is very important to trace the impact of innovations on company’s core financial parameters on the example of R&D-intensive sectors. The research examines interrelation nature between revenue, net profit and indicators of innovative activity of the companies operating in oil and gas sector. The analysis is based on correlation and regression analysis and academic studies of many researches. The result of the research suggests econometric model for revenue and net profit dependency from the indicators of innovative activity of oil and gas companies and several practical recommendations.
