Growth Strategy Type Influence on Airlines Financial Performance

The main goal of the paper is to analyze the influence of companies’ growth strategy choice on financial performance (using airline companies example). Literature review is represented by academic papers and analytical reports of several companies. Sample for the analysis consists of 141 companies from around the world. Time period – from 2008 to 2016. Empirical analysis uses panel data models. Results of the paper show that there is positive effects from capex increase and being a member of strategic alliance, while no significant effects were proved for M&A deals.
