The purpose of this visual study was to find the visual features of the hunting theme, and to use them when you create the techniques of branding. Hunting is as old as humanity exists, so that it is firmly entrenched in the culture and traditions of all peoples on all continents. Hunting scenes are often found in the fine arts. There are many papers and studies on this subject, considering how universal culture, and focused on specific regions or time intervals. In this paper I have departed from the chronological and the territorial principle consider the material and tried to create a General typology of images, including materials for the arts of all epochs and peoples. The objective of the study was to find the visual rhymes that help better identify the similarities and differences in the world of hunting culture. Were compared as the attributes and methods of hunting, and visual nuances of the image: composition, pose and even similar features of the appearance of hunters. Collecting material, I have studied rock art, monumental painting of the Ancient world, illustrations of medieval manuscripts, Oriental miniatures, Japanese woodblock print, the art of Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo, paintings realism, impressionism, book graphics to the XX century.
