The purpose of this work is to determine the prospects for using strategic alliances as a way to achieve competitive advantages in the Russian automotive industry by the example of the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ alliance. The structure of this work includes three chapters. The first chapter contains a theoretical justification for strategic alliances as a way to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. In addition, this chapter describes the main methods and tools for analyzing the external and internal environment of the company, which will be used in the practical part of this work. The second chapter includes a strategic analysis of the Russian automotive industry. This chapter uses the main methods and tools of strategic analysis of the industry in order to determine the key factors for success in competition. In the third chapter, the practice of creating a strategic alliance in the Russian automotive industry was studied using the example of the alliance Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ. This chapter will identify the competitive advantages that partners receive as a result of cooperation within the strategic alliance.
