Some Issues Concerning the Influence of Legislative Functions on the Quality of Law (the Russian Federation Case)

In present work actual problems of legislative process of Russian Federation are considered. The working concept of “quality of law” is defined. Changes, that the stage of discussing legislative procedure in Russian Federation has overcome, are analyzed. The connection between criteria of quality of law and existing procedures of discussing and enacting of law in State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation is established. Also, decisions of Constitutional Court of Russian Federation are analyzed and some legislative positions in the sphere of lawmaking are identified. Finally, the connection between legislative positions of Constitutional Court of Russian Federation in the sphere of lawmaking and criteria of quality of law is established.
