Investment activity is an integral part of the activities of companies seeking to grow and develop. An effectively organized investment process ensures achievement of investment objectives and provides additional profit. Nevertheless, this process is not always well-designed in the organization. This fact leads to the necessity to analyze the effectiveness of the investment process and develop measures to increase it. The process effectiveness is characterized by its economy, productivity and efficiency, these parameters in turn depend on many different factors. Literature analysis shows that overwhelming majority of authors considers the effectiveness of only investment projects when researching the effectiveness of investment activity. Based on the above, the goal is to develop information and methodological support for the analysis of the effectiveness of organization's investment activities in the in the paper. Within research framework, the author formed the author's description of the investment activity process, described the information base for analyzing the effectiveness of investment activities. Within the theoretical part, the criteria and methods of efficiency of various processes proposed in the special literature are analyzed, authorial criteria for evaluating effectiveness and author's methodology for analyzing the effectiveness of the investment process are developed. The survey of decision-makers in companies was hold to form an integrated methodology for assessing the effectiveness of and identified boundaries of low, medium and high efficiency. Approbation of the developed methodology was carried out on the example of LLC "Technology". Recommendations were developed to improve investment activity in the company by standardizing documents, completing the process and its control procedures, and changing the approach to risk assessment, both investment projects and processes in general.
