Evaluation and Regulation of Financial Risks of an Commercial Organisation

Any economic activity is associated with the notion of risk. Such risks can be the cause of an unstable economic system, human and natural facts. Reducing risks can be achieved in several ways. Firstly, the enterprise should invent, implement and produce new products and services that do not lead to an increase in risk. Secondly, risk reduction is possible with proper management. This management involves the identification, assessment of risks, as well as the use of procedures and methods that would reduce possible risks. Risk management at the firm level will have the greatest effect if specific risks are identified, to which certain procedures and management methods can be applied. The subject of this study is the Joint Stock Company Gretexnerud. The subject of the analysis is the financial processes of the enterprise and the final results of its activities. The main aim of the thesis is to identify and assess the risks of the enterprise under study, as well as to analyze the existing enterprise risk control system and develop measures to improve it. In accordance with the goal, the following research objectives are defined: • give a brief description of the JSC "Groteksnerud"; • analyze and assess the enterprise risks on the basis of financial reporting indicators; • study the system of methods used to minimize risks; • give some new measures to minimize risks; • improve the effectiveness of the existing risk management system. In researches on the risk, there are several approaches to determining the quantitative risk assessment. The main ones are: 1) the statistical method; 2) the method of analogies; 3) method of expert evaluation; 4) combined method.
